Aftershow 1397: Trouble in Vegas, Thai Rivera’s Pilot Script!

There’s so much drama in the Las Vegas comedy community, sometimes it’s hard to know whether to just ignore it, or to dive in and cover it all. But you have to talk about something, and they say write what you know. Whatever that means. Artemio Rios aka Trouble in Vegas aka I Am Las Vegas is causing some dissent in the scene by questionable behavior when it comes to the ladies, as well as paying comedians. We talk about a comic named William Strange and touch on his hypocrisy involving the Butch Bradley incident. Will this spell the end for the Splash pool party and comedy show at The Artisan, or give birth to an entirely new brand of creepy trying-oh-so-hard-to-be-hip-and-sexy shows? The main course of the evening is a pilot script dropped in Patrick’s lap by an old acquaintance of Thai’s.

Aftershow 1396: Thai Rivera Tries and Lies

Patrick dives in to the latest microagression on his ears that is Unbothered. Thai Rivera hastily recounts the events of last weekend where he was allegedly assaulted by another member of the comedy community. But is everything as it seems? Is Thai really the victim he wants you to think he is? He is claiming that the attack was racially motivated, but also that it stems from hurt feelings over a Facebook blocking. It’s sad to watch a man try to play tough but also work every possible angle in the world to be seen as a victim. The delusion reaches new heights, and of course he wanders down a million paths in his memory, reliving countless past altercations and times he has had major fall outs with friends. It’s almost like there is a pattern, but someone is too dumb to see it.

Watching the Throne – Part 3 of 3

In this third installment of Watching the Throne, the complete Thai Rivera residency controversy gets even more spin, with Thai declaring the entire weekend a success on his social media and podcast. We listen as this toy boy spins yarns about how happy the venue was with the turnout, how well the shows went, and how impressed the audience was. Unfortunately for Thai, the audio and video evidence seems to contradict his rose-colored view of the entire residency, as well as his talent. We also get a response from comedian Ralph Tutela, who was intended to be Thai’s partner for the residency, but sobered up before the debut and backed out. Not even newer comics on the Vegas scene want to be a part of the implosion of a gay madman and his career

Watching the Throne (Part 2 of 3)

A comedic review of the latest KING of comedy in Las Vegas. This one is a great tale from the C, and so many people helped provide insight in to the story being woven for your absolute amusement and horror. In Part 2, we listen in to another show featuring comedians Thai Rivera, Angie Krum and Dante Verduzco. It’s worse than the first, if that is at all possible, and the grift is real when it comes to Thai collecting money under the guise of this being a Vegas strip-worthy show. Strap in for another long episode with more unbelievable moments throughout, including Thai asking his feature act to leave in the middle of the show. This show was originally live streamed on June 17, 2021. Thai Rivera has since attempted to strike Nobody Likes Onions’ YouTube channel with a copyright takedown notice.

The KRINGE of Las Vegas

OOO GRRL! So many juice boxes to sip in this show! Thai Rivera’s world is collapsing around him. His less-experienced partner has backed out of his new residency show (wise choice), his financing is in jeopardy, he is rethinking the whole show concept and searching for new variety performers, and he admits it’s stressful and not ideal. Oh, also, he wants you to buy tickets for this poorly-executed garbage fire. The show has learned that the venueWe call the Thunderbird Hotel and Casino, and nobody seems to even know about Thai’s show, how to buy tickets, or that it’s even happening in a week. A woman at Chanclas Cantina thinks Patrick is Thai on the phone! We find out that Thai is still trying to get comics in trouble behind the scenes.

NLO 1389: Comedy Whistleblowers (Part 2)

The show continues with Patrick diving in to more of the stories that were leftover from the fever dream distraction that was Crazy Joe’s rampage on our last show. Patrick watches a video of a Waymo vehicle driving around Phoenix and getting in to some trouble. Could the Google-backed self-driving startup be the end of Tesla one day? One thing is clear from this disaster – it’s going to be a long time before we really have to worry abeout robots taking over and killing all the humans. Apparently a road cone can throw off some of the most advanced driving AI that exists, and that doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe you should just keep your grandma’s old Cadillac and drive that until the wheels fall off instead of pre-ordering some flashy new electric fidget spinner.

Comedy.Oof – Mental Illness in Comedy

Comedians are broken. Patrick has proof. You want names? TOO MANY TO LIST. Pour a drink and let’s meander through the mediocrity of comedians who don’t know that they aren’t comedians. This show will be LIVE for MEMBERS ONLY on YouTube and will be released to OVERDOSE members on their private RSS feed, as well as on the Nobody Likes Onions website.

WhinyVision™ – The Diaz Mackie Interview

Comedienne Lyin’ Thai Rivera sits down with comedian Diaz Mackie for what is sure to be one of the biggest mistakes of Diaz’s career. Recorded well over a week ago, we’ve had to wait patiently while Thai wrangle together enough blood pressure to click a mouse in Windows Movie Maker so that he could cut out all of the “umm’s” and “uhh’s” sprinkled amongst his normal stream-of-consciousness waterfall of logical fallacies. Diaz Mackie has allegedly been accused of assault or something, and Thai is LARPing around his tiny apartment pretending to be the guy who’s going to get to the bottom of it all. And if we know anything about Thai, it’s that he has a lot of experience getting to bottoms.

Thai Rivera UNMASKED!

SPECIAL LIVE EVENT! Patrick breaks down the latest shocking screenshots from Thai Rivera, the comedy denial-daddy extraordinaire! Adam Dominguez flips position on Thai and share INSANE conversations where Thai threatens, belittles, lies, and tries to manipulate Adam on multiple occasions. This is by far the most indicting evidence that has been given to Patrick to share publicly that we have seen of Thai’s character and lack of empathy and compassion.

Afershow 1385: Alex Ansel, Thai Rivera Leaks!

Alex Ansel sticks around for today’s aftershow, and Patrick has unearthed a treasure trove of information about everybody’s favorite comedic drama doorknob, Thai Rivera. Why a doorknob? Don’t overthink it. Patrick has recently found out some insane stories about Thai. The following juicy details have recently been alleged by a scandalous source: Thai’s parents don’t really like him, Thai used to be a hard drug addict, Thai lost a sister who was his best friend and felt no remorse, Thai pays his bills through prostitution, Thai made his mom wrap her car with his picture, Thai got tattoos to signal the illuminati that he’s down for whatever, and so much more. We have photos and videos that Thai has erased from all his social media, and we will go over them thoroughly.

WhinyVision™ – Bad VS. Evil

We begin today by recounting the events of the previous evening, where Thai tried once again to intimidate a comic he has bullied in the past. Patrick tells all local comics to just start recording Thai Rivera wherever he is, in private conversations and on stage. He does this to other people, and posts it online, along with other private conversations, and reciprocation is in order. Thai Rivera is back from doing shows and found enough energy to record a weak deflection that is full of lies, empty of energy, and lacks any focus whatsoever as he tries again to rehash and skewer 11 different people in the comedy community. He has a clear lack of focus between emotional collapses and bouts of unbridled anxiety, while alternating between weird semi-apologies and tough, no-nonsense professional.

NLO 1383: Umm, Bothered

Thai Rivera is back at it again, trying to explain away the same altercations for the third show in a row. This one is a LOLlercoaster of emotion, as Thai can’t decide whether or not he wants to make up with people from one minute to the next. He waffles from indifferent to incensed with the manic energy of a teen girl. He also cannot stop texting Patrick throughout the show, which becomes annoying by the end. Patrick reveals how he trapped Thai into all-but proving his vanity by getting him to buy YouTube views. Thai starts new fights with comics Spiro and Jozalyn Sharp, while doubling down on old beefs with Matt Markman, Gooch, Bobby and Krystle, Big Irish Jay, Trixx, and so many more. It’s uncomfortable, edited to shit, and lack focus and a cohesive point.

BONUS: Thai Claps Back!

Patrick listens live to the latest collection of clipped together sass Thai calls a podcast to see what’s new in the comedy world. Or in Thai’s little corner of it. After Thai’s long week of burning bridge after bridge, Thai goes in on even more comedians, bookers, and friends. He wrestles with the idea that he has a mental illness, and later in the show begins messaging Patrick DURING THE SHOW begging him to take down the videos and asking what needs to happen to make all this analysis cease. In this special show, we listen to Thai’s latest beefs, excuses, lies and even rebuttals to Patrick’s overwhelming and constantly accumulating pile of evidence.

Aftershow 1379: Zoom Comedy, Triggers

Patrick kicks off the show by trying to show off a new app that has been developed just for desperate comedians. As if Zoom shows are not bad enough, now there’s an app that let’s “comedians” perform live nightly to earn worthless points for twos of people. It’s getting rough out there. Patrick has trouble getting his iPad to display correctly on the stream. We watch a really cringe video with a conservative black commentator named Jesse Lee Peterson with comedians Shang and Ty Barnett. The comic duo seem to be confused about whether they are being held down or thriving in this era of racism. We learn what Christmas crackers are, because it’s not really an American thing. Long story short for anyone who doesn’t know – it’s not worth learning about.

NLO 1378: Ban Basil

Patrick begins the show with anger about a pizza he ordered that got delivered with a bushel of basil, and he’s not really a basil man. But seriously, take a bite out of this hot gardening talk. There’s drama brewing in the comedy community, and while Patrick is refusing to say much, he also says quite a bit. He just wishes people would understand he’s a fair man. Josh Denny is doing the podcast rounds recently, and speaking of round, check out those cheeks! Josh says he is going back on tour, but we didn’t knew he was ever on tour. Also, this new tour seems to consist of one show in rural Pennsylvania bar. Dustin Diamond, aka Screech, is dead now, but the dream of owning his home could live on, if you like dumps in the middle of nowhere.

Aftershow 1377: SpaceX, Black Pedro

Patrick is back for a 3+ hour after show that starts with a watch of the latest SpaceX Starship test, which takes off, lands and then promptly explodes minutes laters. We’re watching the latest Black Pedro nonsense, and it’s worse than ever. Black Pedro gets drunk and embarrassingly flubs his wa through news stories, while failing to understand simple concepts about why a reporter might be biased for a story. We talk about graphics cards and the shortage of chips, a hot new jail show Patrick has discovered, more political and racial discourse, and so much more.

Aftershow 1376: Black Pedro Video Scandal!

Patrick settles in for an aftershow and there’s so many ways we can go today. We dive in to the latest Savage AF show, to hear how much Shang and Black Pedro can beat a dead horse. There’s still no sign of this Black Pedro album, and we get curious and decide to look up videos. As it turns out, Pedro Hernandez has very little footage available only. Most of it is dated, and, get this – he keep uploading the same clip every few months for the past FOUR YEARS! There’s also some Thai Rivera and Josh Denny stuff. The Locals community is NOT working out.

Aftershow 1375: Josh Denny / Thai Rivera

Our kiwi pal Moody says the show we’re watching today would have never happened without us Onions, but who knows? On this bonus show, we watch and review the paywalled morning show that Josh Denny recently did with Thai Rivera. Josh fudges timelines and catches himself several times. Moody calls Josh very racist throughout this show. Thai admits to watching Nobody Likes Onions, and both of them pretend to not know what the other is talking about. Who produces more cringe? Find out now.
